This is the follow up event to last year's hugely succesful Slam Homophobia event. It will feature both new and returning performers: poetry, monologues, skits, rants, and raving celebrating queer resilience in the face of fear and prejudice against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirited, queer and questioning people. Part of Nakai Theatre's Homegrown Festival.

This hands-on photography workshop will take participants out and about in Leslieville, exploring the neighbourhood's people and places.  Share your unique point of view as you explore the building blocks of composition; light and shadow. Learn to make clearer, stronger pictures. Bring a camera (camera phones are okay) and an empty memory card. Dress for the weather. This workshop is open to photographers at all levels.
